Efforts for Maadhurya Foundation were initiated during 2nd wave of COVID with a primary objective to support musicians who were facing hardships due to non-availability of work. With some being the sole bread earner, itβs a huge risk for the entire family with no facilities from the govt to care for them. Our aim was to cater to needy artists w.r.t to their daily needs and healthcare.
Fortunately situation started improving by March 2022 and slowly musicians started getting work. Meanwhile it was also observed that many local native artists who kept age old traditions and art alive from many generations were still not getting work.
With this background, Maadhurya Foundation embarked on two streams which would help not only needy full-time musicians, but also native/traditional artists and ofcourse needless to say, other allied technicians like sound providers, lighting service providers, LED Wall providers, etc who are very much instrumental in making a show happen.
- Primary objectives
- Organise music shows
- Organise traditional shows by native local artists
- Secondary objectives
- attending to their health care
- overall wellbeing of their family
- promotion of deserving talent from economically needy families
- preservation of native/cultural art forms of India
